Dogs love their owners and are loyal to them. This is exactly what makes it so sad when people betray the trust of their faithful four-legged friends so badly.
This dog had it particularly bad. His owner takes drugs and tortures him in a terrible way. His reaction leaves his rescuer speechless.
He is dragged across the asphalt
Under the influence of drugs, his owner ties a rope around him. He pulls and drags him along the road until a passer-by stops the torture.
Unfortunately, he doesn’t take care of the injured four-legged friend. Loganberry, as his rescuer later calls him, crouches down on the sidewalk and doesn’t move.
He stays put all day. he waits 24 hours for his human to pick him up and make everything okay again – but nothing of the sort happens.
Luckily for him, Suzette Hall is alerted to the traumatized dog and drops everything to rush to his aid.
The experienced dog rescuer can hardly believe what she sees.
„His heart is broken, the poor baby is shaking with fear of people, but underneath all that fear he has a sweet soul,“
she says of her protégé.
Loganberry has abrasions all over his body
The brave dog has abrasions all over his body from the rough asphalt. Worse, however, are the emotional injuries that the sweet guy can barely contain.
With lots of love, water and food, Suzette finally manages to thaw Loganberry out. She promises him something that he can hardly believe in his battered state.
„I told him that the world is not a bad place, and now he will learn to believe it,“
she says.
Suzette’s commitment to dogs doesn’t just save Loganberry’s life
As a mother, Suzette suffered the very worst: she lost her son Logan far too early to an illness. His love for animals is her legacy.
