The dog wants to get on board
A bus driver is on his usual route through the city. But there are not only people waiting at a bus stop, but also a dog.
When the bus arrives and the door opens, the dog wants to get on like a normal passenger.
But he doesn’t seem to belong to any of the people at the bus stop, so the driver refuses him entry, closes the door and drives off.
He thinks that’s the end of the matter. But far from it!
Now the chase begins
The dog has by no means lost interest in the bus. The bus driver and passengers watch in disbelief as he runs after the moving bus.
In fact, he manages to stay right behind the bus at any speed and despite the city traffic until the next stop is reached.

Determined and tireless, he follows the bus through the city to the next stop, then to the next stop but one and even further.
Gradually, the bus driver not only wonders about the four-legged friend’s athleticism, but also wonders why the dog is doing this.
The solution to the riddle
The bus driver thinks that the dog might belong to one of the passengers, but no one comes forward.
Due to the walking and the heat, the four-legged friend must be extremely thirsty by now. Nevertheless, he mobilizes all his strength to continue following the bus.
The bus driver turns the dog away six times, but then he suddenly opens his eyes, his heart and the bus door.
Full of joy, the dog comes in, makes himself comfortable next to the bus driver and remains calm for the entire journey.
Later, when the driver gets off work, the dog doesn’t want to leave the bus. He looks longingly at the man.
Gradually, he understands what the dog wants. The four-legged friend is obviously a street dog and sees the bus driver as the person he wants to live with.
In the meantime, the bus driver has also long since fallen in love with the dog. So the stray’s dream comes true: the man adopts him and the two become best friends.
