Street dogs repeatedly find themselves in dangerous situations. They are then often left to fend for themselves and lost in their distress.
Sometimes, however, there are attentive people who call for help and heroic rescuers. Such is the case with this dog stuck in a river in Serbia.
Hopeless situation
The black and white four-legged friend somehow managed to get stranded on a small island in the middle of a large river.
One can assume that he fell off the bridge into the water and then saved himself on the piece of land.
He couldn’t climb up the bridge, and swimming through the current to the shore obviously seems just as hopeless to him. So now he sits there helplessly and doesn’t know what to do.
Up on the bridge, some people are aware of the little dog’s plight. They try to get help for the four-legged friend, but initially without success.
But then, finally, they reach an animal rescuer: Sasha Peric, who has already helped over 1000 dogs out of emergency situations.
Sporty rescue with a lot of feeling
Sasha skillfully climbs down the bridge, then jumps onto the small island and carefully approaches the dog.
The fur nose is not afraid of Sasha, she is probably just happy that someone is coming and rescuing her from this predicament.
The little dog immediately lets Sasha stroke and comfort her. Then Sasha takes the four-legged friend in her arms and moves with him to the bridge.
The difficulty now is getting the dog to the top. The bridge is very high and Sasha can’t climb and hold the animal at the same time.
But luckily Sasha has a helper with him, who is waiting on a ledge on the bridge pillar halfway up.
Sasha makes a long effort to reach the dog up. The other man initially has difficulty grabbing the street dog, as it is not wearing a collar.
But with a lot of dexterity, he succeeds. He now has a firm grip on the dog and pulls it up.
He then has to pass the animal up another floor. Fortunately, the attentive people who discovered the dog are waiting at the top.
Finally, it’s done – the dog is on safe ground at the top. Sasha and the other helper have also climbed back up.
The furry friend has survived the unintentional adventure well and is getting a good cuddle from the humans.
