Arturo Flores and Lou Dora are part of a dedicated group that cares for stray cats in Orange County, California.
One day, they are caring for a group of felines when they come across a heartbreaking sight.
On a small patch of grass, a lonely and frightened dog is cowering.
Thrown out of the car
The scene takes place in an industrial area, so there are no obvious places to look for an owner.
But this search would be in vain anyway, as quickly becomes painfully clear. The employee of a nearby tire store saw the dog arrive.

A car drove up, the door opened and the little fur nose was thrown out like an annoying guest. Then the car sped off.
A few square meters of hope
Now the poor soul sits here in the shade on a small patch of grass that protects her paws from the scorching hot concrete.

It’s a few square meters of desperate hope for the return of her humans, but they are gone from her life forever.

Then the dog has an encounter she hadn’t expected.
An unexpected encounter
A woman appears and places a kind of cage near the dog. There are delicious things inside.

It smells so good that the hungry dog involuntarily licks her lips. Then she can no longer resist.
She runs into the cage and munches on the treats. The cage closes automatically and the strange woman stands in front of it.
The dog is a little taken aback. What does all this mean? Is she perhaps in danger of some great disaster? The opposite is the case.
The woman is Suzette Hall from the dog rescue organization Logan’s Legacy Dog Rescue.

Arturo Flores and Lou Dora from the cat group called Suzette as an expert and she came immediately.
No longer alone
Suzette gives the dog the name Bean and takes her to Camino Pet Hospital. There, Bean is thoroughly washed and her anxiety disappears along with all the dirt.

Suzette quickly manages to find a foster family for Bean. There, the dog is now spoiled rotten and can indulge her penchant for cuddling.
The search for a great forever home is already underway.
