This story is shocking and heart-warming at the same time.
Shocking because a dog is run over and labelled as rubbish by its unloving owners.
And heart-warming because the dog is very lucky that the right person comes along at the right moment and gives him a new life.
Simply cruel
A young woman called Selina is out and about in the city when she is suddenly almost struck by a blow. A badly injured little dog lies in the street in front of her.
It is covered in blood and can barely move. But he’s alive, and that’s the main thing for now. Selina quickly picks him up from the road and puts him in her car.
She notices glances from people in the background. And then she hears something from them that is simply too heartless to be true:
„That’s our dog. He’s rubbish. He was run over, now he’s useless.“
Shocked as Selina is, she wastes no time in arguing, but takes the badly injured dog to the vet.
To her surprise, the four-legged friend trusts Selina immediately.
The vet says that the dog’s fur will probably never grow back because her skin is so badly injured. Her overall condition is also critical.
Selina takes her home, but fears that she will not survive the night.
The new life begins
But the little dog is a huge fighter. She survives the night and continues to do so. Although her fur doesn’t grow, her wounds heal and she gets fitter and fitter.
Selina and her fiancé regularly foster dogs until they find a forever home. This is also the plan for Amy, as the dog is now called.
Soon she is well enough to be adopted and a young woman is interested.
But after Selina has made an appointment with her, she suddenly has to cry terribly. The thought of giving Amy away tears her heart apart.
Without asking her fiancé, she makes a spontaneous decision: she adopts Amy herself.
Love at second sight
But now she still has to explain it to her fiancé. He normally isolates himself emotionally from the foster dogs.
But now something incredible happens: the man suddenly opens his heart to Amy, now that he knows he doesn’t have to part with her.
And Amy? She loves her dad more than anything, even more than her rescuer Selina.
But something else amazing happens. All of a sudden Amy’s fur grows. In a short time, she becomes a very fluffy dog.
Amy is doing very well, she blossoms completely and even develops into the boss of the house.
Only her dog brother dares to put Amy in her place. But above all, he looks after her very well.
