A dark shadow over the city of Orlando: officers from the Orlando Police Department uncover a crime.
When a woman is arrested for grand theft, a sad, neglected little dog named Sullivan is found.
He is covered in a tangled clump of matted fur. His sad condition is a clear indication of years of neglect.
The founder of Central Florida Fosters, Dannielle Southon, describes the scene as heartbreaking.
She immediately recognises that this little guy is in desperate need of help that he wasn’t getting at home.
Sullivan finally finds comfort and security
After being rescued by the officers, Sullivan is taken to a nearby animal shelter.
Not only does the little dog receive some much-needed grooming, but he also finally gets the love and care he deserves.
His sad, matted appearance gives way to a radiant, adorable face. The transformation is breathtaking and touches the hearts of everyone who meets Sullivan.
But it becomes clear that his owner is not in a position to look after him. Southon decides to give Sullivan a second chance as a foster pet.
„When I saw his picture, it really touched my heart. I knew he was a sweetie the first time I met him because he immediately gave me kisses,“
she says.
A happy future: looking for a forever home
„Oh my god, what a change! I can’t imagine how much better he feels after getting rid of that dirty and smelly fur.“
says Southon when she sees the furry friend again.
Sullivan blossoms under Southon’s loving care. He is playful, full of life and begins to develop his true nature.
His foster carer also provides a reunion with the brave officer who rescued him, commenting as follows:
„She was crying, I had tears in my eyes. It was so heart-warming to see how happy he was with her. She couldn’t believe how great he looked and kept saying he seemed like a completely different dog now.“
Now he’s ready for his forever home.
Vaccinated and full of zest for life, Sullivan is waiting to be adopted by a family who will give him the love and security he has been deprived of for so long.
