Finding a home is the dream of all street and shelter dogs. But sometimes the big dream is shattered and the hope of a forever home is dashed.
Sometimes the adoptive parents‘ lives suddenly change and they can no longer bear the responsibility they have taken on.
This unfortunate case has unfortunately happened to Finley and his family. The sweet young dog now has to look for a home again, even though he had just arrived.
This is Finley
Finley is one year young and full of joie de vivre, which he would like to share. The beautiful male dog is now fully grown, has a shoulder height of around 58 centimetres and weighs around 20 kilograms.
This friendly, sweet-hearted little chap is not only lovely and sweet, but also very docile. He is already familiar with life in a human household and can even be left alone for a few hours.
Due to his difficult start in life and the new setback of losing his home, Finley needs a lot of support, calm and of course love from his humans.
He is still almost a child and his childhood was unfortunately anything but carefree. He is also going through puberty at the moment, so he needs patient, understanding support all the more.
Despite everything, Finley is a loving and bright companion who wants to go through thick and thin with his humans and experience many wonderful things.
Finley’s story
Finley’s young life is like a rollercoaster ride. He was found on the street in Romania as a puppy together with his siblings.
There was no mum with them, which suggests that the little ones had been abandoned.
The puppies were rescued by animal welfare organisations and found happiness with different families.
However, Finley’s happiness only lasted a few months. Now the family’s circumstances have changed so much that they have to give up the wonderful puppy with a heavy heart.
New home urgently needed
Unfortunately, the family can no longer keep Finley. It is therefore very urgent that he finds a new home. He does not want to go to an animal shelter.
Finley is looking for loving, patient and understanding people who are confident enough to give him the support he needs and take him by the paw on his way.
He still has a lot to learn and is definitely looking forward to being taught all the great things in a positive, reinforcing way.
A positive dog school could help with training as well as strengthening Finley’s self-confidence and bond with his humans.
If there are children in Finley’s home, they should be older so that they can respect his need for peace and quiet. His home should also be quiet in general and he would like to be a lone prince.
He gets on well with cats, but it is not known whether he would like to have them in his home.
Will you give this great Finley his forever home?
