The fate of the young dog Elisabeth is similar to that of so many dogs in Romania:
Abandoned as puppies because they are unwanted, they wander the streets and every day their survival hangs in the balance.
However, Elisabeth and her two siblings were lucky enough to be found and placed in an animal shelter, where they are now hoping for loving adopters.
This is Elisabeth
Elisabeth is only one and a half years old.
The beautiful white and black dog with her cute spotted nose and silky long coat measures 47 centimetres at the shoulder and weighs 15 kilograms.
Elisabeth is a calm dog girl, not a whirlwind or a daredevil, but very sweet.
She probably didn’t experience anything good from people before she came to the shelter, which is why she is still reserved.
Nevertheless, Elisabeth is always friendly and enjoys contact with two-legged friends. She longs for attention and to be trusted enough to accept it.
She gets on really well with other dogs.
Elisabeth’s story
This sweet little dog was discovered on a dirt track near the Romanian town of Fantanele.
Together with her sister Tonia and her brother Chuli, she was desperately looking for something to eat and a sheltered place to spend the night.
It is likely that the three of them had to grow up on the streets, probably even without their mother, because they had been abandoned.
The fact that they were found was their great good fortune and should be the beginning of a beautiful life.
The ideal home for Elisabeth
Elisabeth is looking for loving people who are very sensitive and patient so that she can gain confidence and settle in.
Ideally, her home should be in a rural area with few stimuli.
This sweet mouse would also like to be given plenty of physical and mental exercise and, of course, a full family bond and loving cuddles.
Like almost every dog from animal welfare, she would of course also like to learn the dog ABC.
