How awful must it be for a dog to say goodbye to one sibling after another and end up all alone in the shelter?
If Shy could talk, he would certainly tell us, because as we all know, it’s good to get your grief off your chest.
But he can’t talk and so he has to deal with his grief on his own. He doesn’t understand why nobody wants him – and in fact it’s not understandable either.
Shy is a wonderful dog who has somehow always been overlooked. Now he hopes that this article will finally get him noticed and help him find happiness.
This is Shy
Shy is now a young boy of one and a half years. When he came to the shelter, he was still a small puppy. Unfortunately, he had to grow up in the shelter and did not have a happy childhood.
This beautiful male dog is of medium size, his shoulder height is around 50 centimetres and his build is athletic and slim.
„Shy“ may mean „shy“, but that doesn’t apply to this people-loving dog boy at all.
He is friendly, open-minded and loves any cuddles or attention he can get – unfortunately there is far too little of this at the shelter.
This social young dog is also open and good-natured towards other dogs.
He is also interested in and curious about his environment. How he would love to finally get to know more of the world than the shelter grounds and the little bit of the neighbourhood on short walks.
Shy is a real dream dog and is more than ready to move into a home of his own and become a loyal companion for his humans.
The ideal home for Shy
Shy is looking for a loving family (or even a single person or couple) who will take him in as a full member and best friend.
He dreams of spending lots of quality time together cuddling, going for walks in the countryside, playing and being a companion to his two-legged friends.
This bright boy would like to settle in quietly and then learn the basics of being a dog, with patient, sensitive and positively reinforcing support from his family.
This affectionate boy would love to find his forever home straight away, but a foster home would also be a great help to finally get him out of the shelter.
Will you give Shy the happiness he has been waiting for so long?
