The birth and rearing of puppies is always a demanding task for a bitch, but even more so if she has no home.
The puppies are born into adversity and have little chance of surviving, let alone a good life.
Raffaelo’s dog family was a little luckier than most, but a home is still just a beautiful dream for the little rascals.
This is Raffaelo
Raffaelo and his three sisters are two and a half months old, so they are still little babies. When they grow up, however, the fluffy puppy will probably be medium to large in size.
His fluffy coat shines in a beautiful white colour, while his dark eyes and black nose form a very pretty, impressive contrast.
Raffaelo has a thoroughly charming character. He is super-loving, cuddly, outgoing and bright.
This clumsy puppy loves to be cuddled, but also loves to play and is full of zest for life.
Curious, he wants to explore the world and be everywhere where there is something exciting to see or do.
His mum’s appearance suggests that Raffaelo and his siblings may have guard dog genes.
Raffaelo’s story
The four siblings Raffaelo, Flocke, Wally and Henna were born to their mum Floriana in the mountains of Romania – just in time for Christmas.
Exposed to the winter weather and without food, the little ones would have been lost, no matter how well cared for by their mum.
But Floriana had a place where she had been receiving help for some time. There is a restaurant in the mountains and there is an animal-loving old lady who fed the dog every day.
When the puppies were born, she asked the animal welfare organisation to take in the dog family, and so it happened.
The perfect home for Raffaelo
Raffaelo, his three sisters and their mum are all independently looking for loving families.
As soon as the little ones are old enough and vaccinated, they will be ready to go – Raffaelo can hardly wait.
He longs to live in a real home and receive lots of love and attention.
As well as lots of cuddles, he also wants to play a lot, be active and go on discovery tours.
Of course, he also wants to learn the ABC of dogs, with positive reinforcement of course.
The little dog boy wants his humans to be patient and empathetic and to understand him, even if he has a mishap or doesn’t want to sit still. He is still just a baby.
Experience in dealing with guard dogs or a willingness to learn the ropes should be available.
