In an ordinary backyard, an extraordinary story takes its course. A young couple are unsuspectingly about to start a new life, but soon they will change the life of another living creature forever.
At the centre of this story is Molly, a ten-year-old pit bull caught between the past and the future. A series of events that have broken her heart and given her hope shape the destiny of this loyal soul.

A young couple, April and her husband, move into their newly purchased home full of expectations. But then they make a sad discovery.
An abandoned dog is waiting for them. Once loved and then forgotten, Molly is left alone in the garden.
She is chained up, a lonely shadow of herself, while the former family carelessly finalises the sale of the house and doesn’t even put her on the list of items to keep.

But Molly’s story doesn’t end sadly. When April and her husband enter the property, Molly lifts her head and starts wagging her tail.
A spark of hope flickers, a new beginning is in sight. April’s words sound like a prophecy:
„We’re going to make her life so beautiful. She’ll never be tied to a tree alone again.“

Over time, Molly begins to accept her new family. She follows the Parkers everywhere, her affection is a precious gift that the new family appreciates.
But the cat remains cautious and aloof. April keeps trying to approach her, leaving food and water outside to attract her.

New courage to face life is discovered
In the house, Molly gets the care and affection she needs. A warm bath brings her back to life, and soon the house is filled with the cheerful bustle of a revitalised Molly.
