When a little puppy ran up to the volunteers at Northeast Animal Rescue, they had no idea what he was planning to do to them..
But they knew he was up to something. He barked loudly at them until they finally followed him. To an old ruin.
There, the rescue team found something that made them believe in the good again.
An important message
The puppy was desperate to tell the humans something very important.
His only option was to lead the shelter staff to a certain place.
So the staff didn’t hesitate for long and followed the little puppy. He suddenly took off and ran up the stairs towards an abandoned building.
The helpers stayed close behind him the whole time – because they didn’t know where the puppy would lead them.
But one thing was clear: it had to be important!
Animal surprise
When the employees saw where the dog was leading them, they could hardly believe their eyes at first.
Inside this old ruin was a second little puppy!
It was the sibling of the other four-legged friend, who was in urgent need of help. That’s why the puppy led the shelter workers to this place.
The rescue team didn’t hesitate for long and fed the two puppies so that they could eat their fill first.
They then went straight to the rescue centre, where the puppies were given a bath and then examined by a vet.
The two puppies are now doing really well again – and only thanks to the helpful sibling who showed the rescuers the right way!
