Little Dala’s life began anything but beautifully. Not only did she have no home as a tiny baby in Romania.
There were several dogs where she lived and not all of them were friendly. One of them attacked the tender puppy girl, even though she had done nothing wrong.
He bit one of her paws and dragged her across the whole area. Dala’s paw was mauled in the process.
Luckily, animal rights activists noticed the incident and rescued Dala. Who knows what else would have happened to her. Now she is hoping for a good home.
This is Dala
Dala is currently around four to five months old and therefore still a baby. The pretty mouse will probably grow into a medium-sized bitch.
With her short light brown coat, cute bendy ears, sweet dark muzzle and expressive, gentle eyes, she makes every heart beat faster.
And her looks are not deceptive – Dala really is a super-lovely little dog who just wants to be friends with everyone and be loved.
She loves to cuddle and loves to be close to her humans. She is understandably a little reserved with new two-legged friends at first, but that doesn’t detract from her friendliness.
Dala is very uncomplicated and has a natural charm that enchants everyone.
Her good-natured nature extends not only to all people, but also to all other dogs, even though she has had such a bad experience.
Dala’s story
After Dala was rescued from the other dog, she was taken to an animal shelter. Her paw was bleeding profusely and was literally torn to shreds.
The animal welfare workers feared the worst, but fortunately that didn’t happen. The paw was not removed, but operated on, bandaged and well cared for.
The effort paid off: Dala can now use her paw normally again and the injury has healed completely.
She can finally play and run around again. The only thing missing is a family.
The perfect home for Dala
Dala is looking for sensitive people who will take her in with lots of love and show her that she is now in good hands and welcome forever.
She will certainly need some time to settle in and build up a close, trusting bond with her family.
It is important to give her all the time she needs and to let her know that she really has reason to trust.
A harmonious environment, a very warm-hearted approach, patience, understanding and no expectations placed on her are crucial, along with good care and lots of time together.
Dala wants to grow into a self-confident dog and loyal companion. This gentle little mouse definitely has what it takes and she would like to be lovingly supported on her way there.
Of course, she doesn’t know the ABC of dogs yet. Here, too, patience and empathy are required, as well as an exclusively positively reinforcing training style.
Will you give Dala the wonderful future she deserves?
