Brodie lives with a disability: his face looks strangely distorted. But that doesn’t stop the brave four-legged friend from enjoying life.
But behind the injury lies a terrible trauma.
Brodie is bitten
Brodie the sheepdog is born in an animal welfare centre. When he is just a few days old, he suffers a severe blow: his mother bites him on the head.
The injury leaves him with a lifelong disability, but Brodie’s will to live is stronger.
A fighter’s nature
The bite to the head leaves Brodie half blind. In addition, he can no longer move his jaw properly and his tongue hangs out of his mouth.
At first it is not even certain whether he will survive, but Brodie is a real fighter and makes it.
Even later, Brodie doesn’t let his permanent disability stop him from seeking and finding happiness in every single moment.
Great people
Even inner strength is not enough if the environment is not right. In this respect, Brodie is very lucky. He finds a great home.
His new human family accepts and loves the furry friend just the way he is. Brodie’s courage and will to live are an inspiration to his humans.
A new brother
Brodie has even got a new brother who lives with a very similar disability to his own. The two dogs have long since become best friends and are inseparable.
Anyone who sees them playing, wrestling, having adventures and cuddling together can have no doubt: These two have found the secret to a happy life.
