You always wonder how people can be capable of such a thing – simply abandoning small puppies and leaving them to fend for themselves, even though it is clear that they cannot survive on their own.
Unfortunately, this is the order of the day in Romania. Selma and her sister Maisie were even abandoned in the middle of the forest, where their chances of being found were extremely slim.
But the unlikely luck happened, the two little puppies were discovered and brought to safety.
They are now waiting in a foster home to be lucky again and find their very own loving families.
This is Selma
The two sisters are estimated to be around three to four months old and will probably grow up to be medium-sized bitches.
Selma has a very special look: While the main part of her coat is a shiny jet black, she has striking white markings on her paws and chest and a cute white spot on her nose.
Anyone who looks at her face will immediately fall in love with her soft dark button eyes and sweet little snout.
But Selma doesn’t just want to be loved for her looks. She has a wonderful nature that is more than adorable.
The little mouse is very fond of people, seeks to be close to them and loves to cuddle extensively. She is open-minded towards everyone and everything and always retains her gentle, sweet disposition.
This social dog also gets on very well with other dogs and even makes friends with cats.
Selma is simply an adorable little dog who wants to live in harmony with everyone, be happy and be picked up and cared for.
In her new home, she is sure to grow up to be a loyal companion and loving family dog.
The perfect home for Selma
Selma is looking for people who have a lot of love in their hearts and show it to her at every moment of her life.
She always wants to feel welcome and in good hands and never be scolded, punished or ignored. This applies to everyday life as well as training.
The little mouse does not yet know the ABC of dogs, but she wants to be taught it patiently, sensitively and with only positive reinforcement.
This sweetie seems to be very keen to please her humans, so learning will certainly be fun for her.
Selma dreams of being loved for the rest of her life, of being a full member of the family forever and of cuddling and playing with her two-legged friends every day and doing lots of fun activities.
