Unfortunately, it happens again and again. Puppies are simply dumped on the street in Romania, thrown away like rubbish.
The smaller and less experienced the puppy is, the worse its chances of survival.
Lena was not even three months old when she was heartlessly abandoned. All alone and desperate, the little mouse was wandering the streets when she was fortunately discovered by animal rights activists.
Now Lena is hoping that she will soon find a home so that she can grow up happily and have a good life.

Lena is now three months old and has developed into a healthy, lively puppy girl.
At the moment she is still a tiny baby, but she wants to grow up to be a medium to large-sized dog.
The little one has a fluffy, soft coat that shines in white with caramel-coloured markings on her sweet little face.
Lena happily prances around her foster home and explores everything with curiosity. She is an open-minded and bright little dog.
Lena is both playful and cuddly, and she has a very sweet, trusting nature.
Her appearance suggests that she may have guard dog or herding dog genes.
The ideal home for Lena
Lena is looking for a safe home where she can not only grow up sheltered and carefree, but where she can be happy forever.
She wants lots of love from her family, to cuddle, play and discover the world.
This enchanting little dog wants to be a fully-fledged member of the family and be part of her humans‘ lives.
At her tender age, Lena cannot yet be left alone and needs a lot of attention. That’s why her two-legged friends need to bring time as well as warmth of heart.
They should also be familiar with the characteristics and needs of livestock guarding and herding dogs in order to provide the little one with a species-appropriate life.
It is particularly important that she gets enough physical and mental exercise and that the living environment suits her.
She would like a home in a rural area and a house with a fenced-in garden where she has enough space to run around.
Of course, the little puppy has not yet learnt the ABC of dogs. Therefore, once she has settled in, she would like sensitive, patient training with positive reinforcement.
She would certainly also enjoy attending dog school, especially because she would meet new fur friends there.
