Time and again we hear of cats who take the search for a suitable family into their own hands. They choose a „target“ and make it very clear that they would like to stay.
This is also the case with an orange and white kitten that wobbles purposefully towards a friendly person in front of a restaurant.
The kitten is looking for a place of refuge
It is travelling all alone, neither its mother nor its siblings are nearby.
Completely unafraid, it runs up to a man and lets him take it in his arms.
Luckily, the kitten has found an animal-loving person who immediately realises that something is wrong with the little one. He recognises a groove in the middle of the cat’s nose.
The man doesn’t hesitate and sends out a call for help. Jennifer Csenge, the founder of Kitten Nuggets, takes care of the foundling.
Thanks to a lift, they get to the rescue organisation several hours away as quickly as possible.
They christen the new arrival Arthur and he quickly settles into his new foster home.

The kitten continues to wiggle back and forth
Arthur has a bifid nose, i.e. a defect in the midline. His nose did not fully fuse during his development, which is why he also shows neurological symptoms.
His wobbly gait therefore has health reasons.
This doesn’t bother Arthur though, he’s a confident guy who makes up for his unsteady gait with his strong voice. He uses it especially when it’s feeding time.
In general, the little man has an irrepressible appetite and an enormous amount of energy. Once he starts romping around, there’s no stopping him.
Arthur is equipped with a cord motor
Although he is wobbly on his legs, he climbs all heights and obstacles.
He also purrs so loudly that you can hear it all over the room.
As soon as Jennifer enters the house, he starts the purring motor.
Sometimes the little cheeky cat sticks out his tongue, which looks incredibly cute.
Jennifer is determined to keep Arthur and give him the best possible life. After his difficult start in life, he deserves it!
