Breeders try to pass on the best characteristics of the breeding animals to the next generation. But sometimes this doesn’t work out as planned.
This is also the case with Mr Muggles. The little bulldog was not what the breeders had hoped for. That’s why they rejected little Mr Muggles.
Mr Muggles has special needs
Fortunately, Blake took care of Mr Muggles. He learns that Mr Muggles has ended up at Road Dogs and picks him up there.
To do so, he flies to LA and drives 17 hours by car back to Seattle. The reason for this: Mr Muggles has hydrocephalus. That’s why he can’t fly.
With hydrocephalus, fluid builds up in the brain and the pressure rises. This causes the colloquial hydrocephalus to develop.
Blake is happy about Mr Muggles‘ presence
Mr Muggles really can’t complain about a loveless home. Because Blake really does look after him lovingly.
However, due to the hydrocephalus, the bones in his head have not grown together. That’s why Blake has come up with something very special.
As he is involved in the automotive industry, he is developing a helmet for Mr Muggles that is padded. Most helmets for dogs lack padding.
This means he can give Mr Muggles more space and doesn’t have to keep a constant eye on him.
