When Lucy is born, Tiny Tiny is already part of the family. Lucy is Lisa Miller’s daughter and Tiny Tiny is one of three cats.
The two of them spend a lot of time together, but when Lucy goes to bed, her mum always closes the door.
After all, the baby needs some peace and quiet. But one day things turn out quite differently.
Smuggled into the heart
Tiny Tiny wasn’t originally meant to stay with the Millers for long. Lisa Miller had temporarily taken the kitten into care.
However, it soon becomes clear that finding her a forever home is no longer necessary.
Tiny Tiny, whose real name is Lily, fits in so wonderfully with the family and gets on so well with her cat siblings that she will simply stay where she is now forever.
Licking away the tears
Lisa soon realises that she has made the right decision. The little cat quickly takes on the role of the baby of the family, loved by all.
Lisa always carries her around with her. Even when she has housework to do, Tiny Tiny makes herself comfortable in a carrier.
When Lisa becomes pregnant, the kitten joins in her joy wholeheartedly.
When Lisa learns that her mum has cancer, Tiny Tiny helps her through the fateful time and licks away the tears and her emotional pain.
A little jealousy
Then little Lucy is born and there is a brief period when Tiny Tiny is a little jealous.
But Lisa does everything she can to ensure that the little cat still has a special place in her heart, even with the baby.
In practice, this means that Lisa now simply carries them both around the house together.
In the baby room
However, Lucy’s baby room is off-limits for Tiny Tiny. When Lisa takes a look at the baby monitor one day, she is amazed.
This dark spot in the cot looks very familiar to her.
In fact, it is none other than Tiny Tiny, who has slipped into the baby’s room unnoticed and is now making herself comfortable next to Lucy in the cot.
Lisa’s first impulse is to get the cat out, but that doesn’t last long.
When Lucy wakes up, she is delighted to see her cat sister next to her. Now Lisa doesn’t mind either.
