It’s hard to bear the way some people treat their dogs.
The four-legged friends are not always mistreated, but they also suffer greatly when they have to live outside and have no family connection.
This is what happened to little Cicero – even though he is not a guard dog at all.
This is Cicero
Cicero is only around 35 centimetres tall, delicately built and, judging by his appearance, probably a spaniel mix.
The beautiful male dog with the soft black and white fur and cute floppy ears is only two years old.
His large, gentle eyes shine in an extremely pretty brown colour – and it’s not just his eyes that shine, but his whole being.
Cicero is love personified. He is very fond of people, quickly gains their trust and takes everyone into his big heart, whether they are big or small.
This cuddly puppy not only loves to cuddle, but also likes to give kisses to show his love.
He is friendly and social all round, both towards people and other dogs as well as cats.
Despite his cuddly nature, Cicero is not a couch potato, but also enjoys going for walks and playing.
This cheerful little male also likes to take the initiative and charmingly invites his dog buddies to play.
He is curious when out and about and loves to explore the neighbourhood. Walking on a lead is a matter of course for him.
Cicero’s story
Cicero’s life began in Hungary in June 2021. Unfortunately, he was not allowed to have a happy childhood and youth, as he was kept outside in the garden by a family.
Not only did he lack the warmth of home, he also received no love, affection or activity.
The poor little chap had to eke out a sad and lonely existence with only the bare necessities.
Eventually, his owners decided that they didn’t even want to give him this and wanted to get rid of him altogether.
This was his great good fortune, as he came into the care of animal welfare organisations and was allowed to live in a foster home for the time being.
Cicero dreams of a forever home
He can’t stay in the foster home permanently and he very much wants to find his own forever family.
Cicero is the perfect friend and also an ideal family dog. Whoever takes him in doesn’t really matter to him, the main thing is that he is loved and can faithfully accompany his human(s).
This affectionate puppy wants lots of human contact and cuddles as well as walks, games and contact with other dogs.
As he still has a lot to learn from the dog ABC, he would also like to receive sensitive, patient training with positive reinforcement.
Thanks to his kind-hearted, uncomplicated character, he could also easily move in with beginners.
