It is unparalleled heartlessness: A mum dog with two puppies is abandoned in a place where they have no chance of survival and are unlikely to be found.
It sounds unthinkable, but one person brought this atrocity upon his cold heart. It almost seems as if he intended Wollie, his brother and their mum to die.
But the fluffy canine family was lucky – in the unlikely event that they were discovered, it happened in time to save their lives.
That was around two years ago and Wollie is still waiting for a home.
This is Wollie
Wollie is a sugar-sweet little black fuzzy that resembles a Mudi.
The cute male dog is now around two and a half years old and has grown into a medium-sized dog.
Wollie loves to cuddle and have his tummy stroked. He is a kind-hearted boy who gently snuggles up to his humans and just wants to be loved.
He is also friendly and open-minded towards other dogs.
This bright young dog is also curious, playful and very clever. He learns new tricks almost in the blink of an eye.
He is still a little shy and fearful in many situations, so he needs people who will lovingly take him by the paw.
Wollie was very lucky in misfortune
Wollie, his brother Bobby and their mum Greta were abandoned in Romania far away from any civilisation.
They were so far away from any towns and villages that they could not have got there on their own, as the little puppy legs would not have been able to walk that far.
Only a dangerous road leads through the vast area.
Why would someone take a family of dogs to a place where they are certain to die? One can only surmise what is going on in such a cruel person’s mind.
But the cold-hearted plan didn’t work. Wollie and his family were lucky. There were attentive people driving along the road who noticed the dogs.
So the fluffy family came into the care of an animal shelter.
Wollie is now living with a foster family in Germany, where he is waiting to find his forever humans.
The perfect home for Wollie
Wollie needs a very loving, sensitive, understanding and patient home.
He wants to arrive in peace, gain confidence and get to know the good life. Extensive cuddles should not be missing from the agenda.
Wollie wants to feel safe and secure, discover new situations slowly and with the support of his humans and learn how a normal dog’s life works with loving support.
His home should be in a rural location without any hustle and bustle, as peace and quiet are important for him to feel at ease and gain self-confidence in a relaxed manner.
Will you give Wollie the happy life he deserves?
