Breanne W. and her dog Girly are actually inseparable. Recently, however, Girly disappeared from the face of the earth. Brianne almost died of worry.
What she then discovered almost made her shriek and then laugh heartily.
The baby interrupts the search
No matter where Breanne looked, there was no sign of Girly anywhere. Not behind the couch, not by the window and not in any of her other favourite places.
Where could her favourite furry friend be? Suddenly a loud noise interrupted the search: the baby was calling for her mum. Nothing helped.
Breanne had to interrupt her search for Girly. Or so she thought.
A master of camouflage
When Breanne came into the nursery, everything seemed normal at first. The baby was kicking as expected in its cot.
Next to it lay the cuddly stuffed giraffe and other toys. But what was that?
Hard to believe, but true:
Girly was actually peeking out from between the toys. Breanne was terrified at first, but it didn’t last long.
„Once I realised it was her, I couldn’t stop laughing“,
breanne told The Dodo.
She immediately called her husband. He didn’t even notice Girly at first. She was so perfectly camouflaged among the toys.
It was only after the dog made herself known by moving that the man was able to recognise her.
Breanne could have guessed it
In hindsight, Breanne could almost have guessed where Girly was hiding. The dog and the baby are best friends.
„We often joke that it’s actually Girly’s baby,“
said the happy dog owner. But Girly has not only taken the youngest member of the family to her heart. Breanne and her husband also have a firm place there.
