Having a dog means having a loyal, loving friend by your side, but this friend also needs attention and care.
Unfortunately, not all dog owners can or want to take on this responsibility „for better or for worse“. This is why dogs often end up on the street – even here in Germany.
One such fate befell little Picasso, who wandered around Hamburg all alone in winter. Now he is hoping that kind-hearted, responsible people will take him in.
This is Picasso

Picasso, affectionately called „Pitschi“ by the helpers at the animal shelter, is a sweet eleven-year-old French Bulldog.
He is 35 centimetres tall and weighs 11.2 kilograms.
The cute white and brown male has the typical short-legged build, scrunched-up face and funny big prick ears.
Pitschi’s character is just as sweet as he looks. The animal welfare workers say that he is „a real heart dog“.
He is just lovely, wants to cuddle and be very close to his humans.
This cheerful little dog always remains friendly all round, both to his two-legged friends and his fellow dogs.
He is already house-trained, knows his way around a lead and loves going for walks.
Unfortunately, Picasso is plagued by back problems, which are typical of his breed. It is likely that this is why he was abandoned.
The animal shelter even suspects that his former owner never took him to the vet – an incredible lack of responsibility.
The helpers are now looking after the little rascal as much as they can, giving him massages and aqua training. He absolutely must continue to do both every day.
The perfect home for Picasso

Little Pitschi is looking for a very loving, understanding family who won’t shy away from a little medical work.
He would like to spend many more wonderful years with his future humans, cuddling cosily, being part of their lives and experiencing great adventures.
To achieve this, it is important that the little big fighter can live as fit and pain-free as possible, which is why daily massages and aqua training are so important.
He should also be allowed to visit the vet regularly.
Apart from that, Picasso has no great demands – he just wants love, lots of time together and a family connection.
The social dog boy would also be happy to move into a home where there is already one or more dogs.
Will you give Picasso a happy life?
