A dog is exhausted to death as she slowly drags herself out of the forest. She wants to cross the road, but she doesn’t have enough strength left.
She collapses in the middle of the road and lies motionless. Vigilant residents saw the dog and intervened.
From the street to the hospital
The residents run into the street and make sure that no car runs over the dog.
They then carry the completely emaciated dog onto the sidewalk, offer her something to eat and call the police.
The police don’t believe that the dog can still be saved. But a local resident named Rachel refuses to give up.
She takes the dog to a veterinary clinic and pays for the treatment herself.
The name that the dog is now given expresses Rachel’s attitude: Hope.
Hope’s past
According to a report by the Animal Club, Hope is not chipped, so there is no certainty about her origins.
However, the vets at the clinic are able to recreate her history. Hope is around seven years old and has given birth to an unusually large number of puppies.
It is suspected that she was used for breeding. When her body was no longer able to do so, she was abandoned and left to her fate.
It is a level of heartlessness that leaves us speechless.
In the intensive care unit
At the hospital, Hope is admitted to the intensive care unit. The vets believe that she will make it. This confidence is justified.

Hope is still weak, but she has already survived the worst.
A new home
In the coming days, Hope’s condition continues to improve.
Just one week after she came close to death in the veterinary clinic, she was released.
Released to where? Hope has already found a new home. Her new mom is none other than Rachel, to whom Hope also owes her life.
Now she can sleep in her own dog bed surrounded by love. She has already met the other pets.
It looks like Hope is finally going to lead a happy life.
