Many dogs in Hungary end up on the streets, unloved and abandoned by their owners, or are born as strays.
Life out there is extremely hard, and those who survive are extremely lucky. Little Bonzo probably had such a hard life for a few years after he was abandoned.
Fortunately, he has now found a foster home in Germany, where he is safely waiting for the loving forever home he deserves.
This is Bonzo
Bonzo is estimated to be five years old and fortunately he is still in good health.
The sweet male is a hunting terrier. His shoulder height is only around 30 to 35 centimetres and his weight is a delicate eight kilograms.
This handsome little chap is full of energy, zest for life and a thirst for adventure. His favourite place to be is in the great outdoors, where he enjoys long walks and sporting activities.
He also enjoys relaxing at home with his humans afterwards and being cuddled extensively.
Being close to his family is the greatest thing for Bonzo anyway. Whether during activities, cuddles or in everyday life, the cuddly puppy wants to stay as close to his two-legged friends as possible.
As small as he is, his love is immense, which is why he never wants to miss a moment with his favourite people. Whether adults or children, there is room in Bonzo’s heart for everyone.
He is a little more selective with other dogs. He likes to make friends with larger dogs, but doesn’t like smaller ones. Cats are not his cup of tea.
The ideal home for Bonzo
Bonzo is looking for a family for life. Friendly children are also welcome.
The most important thing for him is to feel that he is truly loved and that he can be a full member of the family.
He always wants to be very close to his humans, cuddle with them, keep himself mentally and physically occupied and have great adventures in the great outdoors.
Bonzo is therefore looking for a family that is both very loving and active and fit, has lots of time for him and enjoys being out and about in nature.
He is already familiar with the lead and a few other things, but he would love to learn the whole ABC of dogs. As bright and people-orientated as he is, he will certainly enjoy it.
Of course, only positive reinforcement should be used when training him and you should be sensitive and patient.
