A man falls in love with Gray Belle
2.808 days after her arrival, CFA’s wish for Gray Belle came true.
A man who lived nearby visited the shelter and fell in love with her.
„He calmly walked in, sat on the floor next to her and spoke to her in a gentle, loving voice,“
kim Roman, CFA’s volunteer coordinator, told The Dodo.
And further:
„He then offered her treats without pushing her and made her feel comfortable by respecting her boundaries.“
But it got even better:
„He asked one of our volunteers if Gray Belle was bonded with other cats at the shelter or if there was another cat who could give her the comfort of a familiar person.
Our volunteer immediately thought of Carrots, who was also one of our long-term residents.“

This man changed the future of two cats who now lead happy and contented lives full of love.
Shy animals deserve a loving home
Gray Belle’s story is an example of how even shy animals deserve a chance to be adopted.
