When Brandon Turnbow is driving along a highway in Texas on his Harley, he can hardly believe his eyes:
A man is standing at the side of the road next to his car and beating his dog.
The biker cannot accept this
Brandon realizes that he has to intervene. He wants to confront the brutal man, but at the same moment he simply throws the dog onto the kerb and drives away.
Brandon quickly goes to the Jack Russell terrier, who is crouching on the ground, injured and trembling with fear. Fortunately, the poor animal doesn’t run into the traffic.
The worried biker makes a quick decision:
„I’ll take the risk and just lean over him to see if he bites or trusts me.“
Then he is relieved, because the little terrier doesn’t bite. On the contrary, he likes to be hugged and picked up.
Brandon puts the abused dog on the motorcycle seat and thinks for a moment about what to do.
He wants to take the furry friend with him and rescue him, but how should he transport the dog on the motorcycle?
Since there is no other option, he simply gives it a try.
Before setting off, however, he lets the engine run for a while so that the four-legged friend gets used to the noise and vibration of the Harley.
Surprisingly, the terrier doesn’t mind at all. He even seems to feel comfortable.
So Brandon carefully places him in his motorcycle bag and slowly drives off.
„Now I have a co-pilot“
The two of them have 45 miles ahead of them. Brandon keeps looking around to see if the dog behind him is getting restless, but the furry friend stays put and clearly enjoys the ride.
The rescued terrier arrives safely at Brandon’s home. The biker has long since fallen in love with him and wants to keep him.
Brandon has already found a name for his new best friend: He calls him Mr. Davidson because he feels so comfortable on a Harley Davidson.
Since then, the two have shared everything, especially their love, and Mr. Davidson still loves riding his motorcycle.
That day, the biker became a hero to the little dog because he didn’t look the other way, but took a stand against injustice.
