Alone, in the middle of winter
It’s cold, there’s snow on the streets and winter has arrived in Bulgaria.
The cold temperatures will continue for a very long time and there is no sign of a change in the weather.
Those who go outside dress warmly and look forward to a warm room after a walk. The little dog Koki has none of these certainties.
He is alone on the streets of Bulgaria, waiting for the inevitable.
Angel on a journey
The little four-legged friend has not had the courage to face life for a long time. The cold is sapping his strength.
But then fate seems to be kind to him. A couple finds the dog, who is emaciated and close to death.
However, the four-legged friend’s fear is too great. He tries to run away and thus bundles up the last of his strength.
Nevertheless, the couple do not abandon him to his fate, seek him out again and take him home wrapped in a blanket.
A new life
Once in a warm house, surrounded by loved ones, it takes a while for Koki to open up. His rescuing angels give him this name.
They look after him, gain his trust and ensure that he regains his strength. He soon feels better.
After good and thorough medical care, the unbelievable happens: A new home is found for him, where Koki is finally happy.
A story that shows that help can save a life and that it is never too late to at least try. All the best, Koki.
