Camping in nature, far away from civilization with all its hustle and bustle and noise, with only the open sky above your head and the sounds of nature all around you, is pure relaxation.
The couple in this video simply want to get away from the stress of everyday life, enjoy the peace and quiet and be in harmony with nature.
But waking up this morning is anything but relaxing..
Who’s chewing on our tent?
The couple have pitched their tent in the middle of a national park and enjoyed a peaceful night. Now it’s getting light and they open their eyes.
A huge shock runs through them: something big is moving along the outside of the tent and pressing against the fabric.

The way the large dark shadow moves across the tent roof in strange movements is really creepy.
At first, the couple just stares at the strange thing. It is definitely an animal, but what kind?
Gradually, the two realize that what they are seeing is just the animal’s mouth. And this mouth is clearly trying to chew up the tent!
The couple are at a loss, but then the man has an idea. He tries to chase the animal away by making funny noises.
„Ah, ah!“
he calls out in a guttural voice. But the animal’s mouth continues to nibble at the tent fabric, unmoved.
On closer inspection, the man realizes that the shape of the mouth looks familiar.

„It’s either a horse or a sheep,“
he says and gets up to have a look outside. Is that a good idea? Maybe it’s something else after all?

Horror becomes romance
No, it’s nothing else. It’s actually a horse that gave the camping couple such a fright in the early morning.
The horse has stopped chewing and is looking at the man with a friendly expression. It has even brought a few friends with it.

The horses apparently just wanted to wake the humans up to say „good morning“ and came up with something very funny to do so.
Or is there another explanation?
@matthewscruggs7104 opines:
„[The horses] were licking the morning dew off the tent.“
He goes on to write:
„What a beautiful moment, probably a scary way to wake up, but still a wonderful memory for [the couple] I would guess.“
What do you think? Is this way of waking up rather scary or beautiful? And do the horses really want to lick up the water or greet the couple?
