About a month after Ash was adopted, her new family discovered one of her most important traits: She doesn’t like it at all when her owners sleep.
Instead of accepting that people sometimes need to sleep, Ash decided to do everything in her power to get her owners to give up sleep for good. Her „anti-sleep campaign“ has been running for almost a year now.
Ash and her special tactics
To get the best possible results, she varies her tactics depending on who she is targeting.

„She rarely slaps me in the face. She hits my boyfriend more often, but it rarely leaves a mark. But her favorite method is the shrill meow until one of us wakes up.“
Ash is incredibly determined and won’t give up until one of her owners wakes up and acknowledges her presence.
As a compromise, she also tries to take theoccasional nap with them, but only in the most inconvenient places possible.
To take the constant loss of sleep with humor, her parents have set up a camera to record Ash’s nighttime antics – and the results are pretty funny.

Lauren posted the footage of Ash trying to wake her up online, and everyone had something to say about the cute little night terror .

Even though they are a little more tired since adopting her, they wouldn’t trade her for the world.
