A player from the opposing team, Deportivo Palestino, has the ball. Suddenly, a new player rushes onto the pitch that nobody expected.

Ball snatched
This new player is a dog, probably a golden retriever by the looks of it.
Disregarding the ban on handball, the furry friend grabs the ball with its front paws, puts it in its mouth and doesn’t give it up.

Carried off the pitch
After several players and the referee have approached, Maximiliano Salas solves the dog’s problem in a very practical way.
He grabs the dog from behind under its front legs, lifts it up together with the ball and carries it off the pitch. The dog seems to think it’s pretty cool.
„Only drag yourself off with me if you enjoy it,“ he thinks and hangs in the man’s arms like a cheerful giant teddy bear.
