Magnolia’s voice echoes loudly and desperately through the night. The dog is far from her familiar surroundings and all alone.
A cruel person, presumably her former owner, has tied her up in the woods behind a cemetery in Beaumont, Texas – without food or water.
It was not in vain
Magnolia barks her suffering out into the world all night long until her voice is finally hoarse.
The only good thing is that her cries are not in vain. Beaumont Animal Care staff finally rescue Magnolia from her appalling situation and take her to the shelter.
Finally with good people
At first Magnolia is extremely suspicious, which is all too understandable after her traumatic experience.
But the clever furry friend soon realizes that at Beaumont Animal Care she is dealing with people who like her and simply want to help her.
The friendly and calm voices soon make the dog trust them. Above all, Magnolia can now enjoy the fact that she is no longer alone.
She enjoys the company of people and other dogs on her regular walks and during playtime in the yard.
Waiting for great happiness
Now, even the best animal shelter is no real substitute for a loving family.
The staff at Beaumont Animal Care are hopeful that Magnolia’s dream of a great home will soon come true.
She would love it best if there was another furry friend to play with. She wouldn’t say no to a comfy couch either.
Sometimes Magnolia likes to laze around in cozy surroundings after a bit of action.
