This is the terrible story of Camilla, a dog who was abandoned by her family.

A piece of garbage
The family of lovable dog Camilla is moving house. On the day of their departure, they leave a pile of things in front of the house to be picked up by the garbage collectors.
Camilla is among these items. She is left behind like an unwanted object, without food or water.
Her only comfort is her blanket. She lies on it and waits bravely for her humans to return.
She is scared and confused, and every hopeful look she gives you is heartbreaking. Because she hasn’t given up hope, she can’t believe that her family has abandoned her.
New hope for Camilla
Marina Tarashevska, co-founder of the animal welfare organization Dallas DogRRR, discovers the sad dog still lying hopefully on her blanket.
„It was really cold and rainy, and the dog was lying on her blanket – and she didn’t want to leave it,“
she reports.
After talking to the neighbors, her worst suspicions were confirmed – Camilla had been abandoned and needed help.
Rescuing the completely terrified dog is not easy, as she is shy and won’t let anyone touch her.
But with a lot of calm and empathy, they finally manage to catch her.
Camilla has injuries to her neck, presumably from a fight with another dog. Despite her traumatic experience, she is slowly learning to trust people again.
Tarashevska is full of hope for a good future for Camila. Every day, more of Camila’s wonderful personality emerges.
It still breaks the animal rights activist’s heart when she thinks about how this loyal dog was heartlessly abandoned.
Her greatest wish is for Camilla to find a loving home where she can stay forever.
