It was a wonderful and sunny day, perfect for cooling off in the pool.
Max the Great Dane thought so too, wanting nothing more than to jump into the cool water and take a refreshing dip.
But his mistress had a different opinion..
The pool was off limits for him
Unfortunately, his owner forbade his four-legged friend to go for a swim.
However, Max really wanted to get into the pool and tried to assert his wish loudly: He initially started whimpering quietly to himself, but this quickly turned into a loud whimper.
It sounded like taking a child shopping and denying him his favorite treat.
Deaf four-legged friend
Although the dog suffered from a hearing disorder because he was deaf, it was no problem for him to understand his owner by reading her lips and interpreting her hand gestures.
Despite his deafness, Max usually listens to the word – but this time he was simply deeply disappointed that he was not allowed to enter the pool.
He just wanted to splash around in the pool! He even ventured to the edge of the pool and tried to dip a paw in the water.
He backed out
It looked as if he wanted to test the temperature (and his owner) to see how far he could go – but then he changed his mind and withdrew his paw.
Instead, he just kept on whining, becoming more and more insistent. His anger at being banned from the pool was huge!
When his owner posted the video online, it quickly went viral – millions of people were amused by the angry Max.
We hope that his owner will soon take pity on her furry friend and let him swim in the pool after all. After all, every dog deserves to cool off and have fun in the water.
