A family discovers cute kittens in their home, but they don’t belong to them.
A loyal dog, the hero of this story, plays a crucial role as he brings the kittens through the door into the house.
The animal saviour
One day, the family dog, alert and curious, brings one of the kittens into the house through the doggie door.

Confused, but also worried, the family watches as he brings in another kitten shortly afterwards.
The family then searches everything outside their home for the mother, but instead they find a third baby.
From street life to paradise

The family turns to local rescue organisation CBCR in the hope of providing the kittens with the care they need and eventually a loving home.
In the meantime, while they wait for a place in the care programme, the dog’s owner takes on the responsibility of caring for the kittens.

The trio, consisting of Peter Pan, Wendy and Tinker Bell, are warmly welcomed.
Their incessant appetite alone indicates their lively energy.

They greedily pounce on their food bowls, pushing each other away to get to their food.

The little whirlwinds sweep through the room, their lively spirits transforming every object into a playground.

„Peter loves to follow people around, Tinker Bell is the most adventurous and curious and Wendy is the daredevil and likes to climb and look for trouble,“
says the family.

A happy ending in sight
The once stray kittens are developing into playful, loving and adorable young cats.
„[Soon] it will be time for them to make their way to the second star on the right and then straight on to adoption. They are adorable little love balls. We know even Peter Pan will be excited to finally be adopted and have a real mum. Sometimes in rescue it takes a little faith, a dog and a pinch of pixie dust.“
said Mary Huckabee of CBCR.

In this world full of challenges, realities like this remind us that compassion and love have the power to save lives and give hope.
The happy ending of these kittens is a shining example of the miracles that can happen when people and animals help each other.
