Smile’s path to rescue
Smile finds refuge at the At-Choo Foundation in California as one of 24 dogs with skin conditions.
But her story takes a turn when the organisation „No Dog Left Behind“ (NDLB) learns of her fate.
On Facebook they write the following post:
„We heard her story, we saw her pictures, and we fell in love with the hope we saw in her eyes. Smile was destined to join our rescue.“
The rescue is proving to be a challenge as Smile is full of fear.
But the volunteers do everything they can to make her feel safe and secure – with success.
Stephanie Easley, operations manager at NDLB, raves:
„Once she got out of the van and was no longer pinned in the corner, she felt much better. She curled up and just laid there and watched the volunteers work. She made the recording team completely enamoured.“
