Despite her different appearance, this dog has a huge heart.
But unfortunately, like all of us, she is growing up in a world that is often all about appearances.
Many people are superficial and only want four-legged friends who are also visually appealing to them.
Urgently looking for a home
The Labrador dog with the beautiful name Bethany was born with facial changes and limitations.
This is also the sad reason why many people have a negative attitude towards her.
She would have been just as beautiful a puppy as all the others – but there were complications at birth that made her face as misshapen as it is now.
Bethany has a wonderful character, but most people don’t care about that. Her appearance simply puts them off!
But Bethany, who is now one year old, wants nothing more than a loving home where her family will love her for who she is.
Simply abandoned
Because nobody wanted her as a puppy, she was simply abandoned on the street without a heart.
Fortunately, kind people found her and rescued her in time!
But then the fight of her life really began. Bethany faced many challenges due to her appearance..
People are often shocked by her appearance and run away without even giving her a chance.
With her nose twisted to the right side of her face and one eye tilted the wrong way, many people think she is ill.
For fear of infection, they prefer to avoid the dog.
Who will give her a forever home?
Bethany just wants to be accepted – and to be lovingly cared for and loved in a new home!
But so far her wish seems hopeless..
For a long time, the dog was at the Safe Rescue for Dogs shelter in the UK. She was always friendly and alert in front of visitors.
Bethany is healthy, loving, cheerful, obedient and loves children more than anything!
But although she is such a great dog, nobody wanted to adopt her because of her looks.
A glimmer of hope..
One day, a family came to the shelter wanting to adopt Bethany. But after seeing her face, they decided against the dog.
Bethany had been so looking forward to her new home – it broke her heart to be rejected again!
But Bethany is not giving up hope and is firmly convinced that one day she will find a loving home where she will be accepted and loved, even with her less than perfect looks.
We are keeping all our fingers crossed for Bethany that she will soon find someone who recognises her true beauty and her wonderful soul.

Bethany has now found a family in the UK who have lovingly taken her in and accept her for who she is!
