Rachel Huertas has a cute dog called Oscar. The little fur nose should always look good. That’s why Rachel makes regular appointments with a groomer.
One day it’s that time again. Rachel takes Oscar to his appointment, drives home and shortly afterwards receives a call that she can pick up her dog.
Then something strange happens.
No more bad breath
Something seems to be different about Oscar than usual. Of course, the furry friend never looks the same after a visit to the hairdresser.
After all, a new look is the purpose of the whole thing. But where have the age spots gone that are as much a part of Oscar as his ears or nose?

What’s also strange is that Oscar’s bad breath has disappeared and his breath is now really fresh.
That’s nice, but how can that be? He’s been to a hairdresser, not a dentist.
Strange behavior
In addition to these oddities, there is another worrying fact. Oscar’s behavior has changed, and not in a positive way.
He seems unsettled, as if he doesn’t feel quite right and somehow in the wrong place. The worrying behavior doesn’t change even after a few days have passed.

Oscar and Gus
Rachel is already very worried when suddenly everything becomes clear.
The dog is not Oscar at all. He’s Gus – a furry friend who was at the groomer’s at the same time as Oscar.
The groomer got them mixed up and then gave them back to the wrong owners.

Perhaps the mix-up was a little careless, but not entirely incomprehensible, because Oscar and Gus do indeed look very similar.
All is well again
After the misunderstanding is cleared up, everything is quickly put right. Oscar returns to Rachel and Gus to his family.
Rachel is naturally delighted to have the real Oscar by her side again.
Admittedly: Gus‘ fresh breath was already great, but you don’t replace a member of your own family because of bad breath.
