The park is actually a quiet and protected place

But nature is unpredictable and twice as unpredictable where animals live.
A falcon flies over the park and spots a small rabbit
This is the perfect prey for the bird of prey, which swoops down to the ground with a typical bird of prey movement and outstretched talons.
There it tries to grab the unsuspecting rabbit.
But the rabbit lets out a bloodcurdling scream that echoes throughout the park.
Nobody could have foreseen what happens next
Suddenly, a deer appears and rushes towards the falcon at considerable speed.
It strikes the bird of prey with its hooves, forcing it to let go of the rabbit.
The rabbit has sharpened all its senses in the fight for survival. It immediately senses its chance and scurries away.
But the deer continues its attack and wants to make sure that the bird is no longer a threat.
In the end, the falcon did not survive the fight.
The park staff only stumble across the dramatic scene by chance
The park’s operations manager, Kris Miller, finds the lifeless falcon while doing routine work in the park.
Unable to make sense of the animal’s death, he sifts through the camera footage.
When Kris plays back the footage, he is completely stunned.
Why did the deer act like that?
The rabbit’s cry of distress could sound like the cry of a fawn to the deer. This awakens their irrepressible maternal instinct.
The story also shows that nature is always full of surprises.
The park administration does not keep the spectacular footage to itself, but shares it on the internet.
