A life full of fear, worry and struggle: unfortunately, this is still the sad everyday life of far too many animals today.
Fortunately, however, there are people who take care of these four-legged friends and give them a new life with love.
Kristin and Jodi tell a very similar story and prove something that nobody else would believe.
A big heart
Jodi is a woman full of love and warmth. Every day she gives as much of it as she can to her faithful four-legged friends who have never known a happy life before.
She gives comfort to broken dog hearts and shows them a way out of sadness.
She doesn’t care how long it takes. She remains brave and full of strength. Every single animal in Jodi’s care should be well forever.
Mastiff scarred by life
Kristin has also recently become part of Jodi’s life. She is a mastiff and doesn’t know the love that is only meant for her.
Jodi wants to show her a new way, but it seems impossible. For days, Kristin lies in a corner outside, unable to open up.
However, Jodi and her husband leave no stone unturned and always stay by her side.
„My husband and I took turns. Somewhere between 10 and 12 hours a day, just letting her know that we’re not going to make those sudden moves.“
says Jodi, reminiscing.
New confidence
Her behaviour pays off and one day the time has come: all by herself, Kristin leaves her place of refuge and enters the new owners‘ house.
Of course, it still takes a lot of time and patience before the last doubts are overcome and the beautiful dog can regain her trust.
But she overcomes this hurdle together with Jodi and soon something unimaginable happens: Kristin now helps other sad dogs to lose their fear.
A change that borders on magic, but is a story of life. Thank you, Kristin and Jodi, for a small miracle that knows no words.
