In this video, a boy is standing on the side of the road in a residential area. A black bear is walking along the other side of the road.
The boy waves at the animal. Perhaps he shouldn’t have done that, because now the bear is running towards him in a rage.
Bear baffling for the advanced
What the boy does now is definitely not what the bear expected. He doesn’t run away, scream or try to scare the bear away in any other way.
Instead, he stands still as if a good friend is coming across the road towards him.
Eye to eye
„What kind of strange child is that?“
the bear asks himself and it’s easy to understand why. The boy’s calm reaction is indeed astonishing.
He doesn’t show a bit of fear, but simply a wait-and-see interest in the dangerous animal. Now the two are facing each other.
The boy looks at the bear and the bear looks at the boy. The anger with which the animal ran across the street just a moment ago has vanished into thin air.
The neighbor
A neighbor was watching the whole scene. He is obviously terrified for the cub and is now behaving quite recklessly.
Without hesitation, the man throws his arms up in the air. Then he runs towards the bear to scare it away. It’s risky, but it works well.
„A boy who won’t budge, and now a madman waving his arms. I’m getting out of here“,
thinks the bear and takes off. The man follows a few steps behind. Presumably he wants to make sure the animal doesn’t come back.
The boy now proves a second time that he is a very unusual child.
Instead of looking after the man and the bear, he rides his scooter in the other direction and doesn’t even look back.
