When the 20-year-old rescued dwarf horse Eleanor gives birth to a foal, everyone is surprised that such an old dwarf horse was covered at all.
Before she was rescued, she apparently had a difficult life. This was also evident from the fact that she protected her foal Teddy from everyone.
Unfortunately for little Teddy!
Teddy has an overprotective mother
Teddy is a dwarf horse. And the smallest foal that the team from the „R&R Ranch Miniature Horse Sanctuary“ has ever had.
What’s more, it’s a foal with an overprotective mother.
As soon as one of the other miniature horses poked its head over the fence to check on Teddy, the mare became snappy.
So she involuntarily ensured that her little one did not learn to socialize. With the result that Teddy had no friends!
Nobody wants to know anything more about Teddy
As soon as he tried to get the other dwarf horses to play by running around wildly, they all turned their backs on him.
But then the unexpected happened. There are other four-legged friends on the ranch besides the dwarf horses: dogs.
They took care of the unfortunate little horse. So Teddy learned to play with others and eventually the other dwarf horses made friends with him too!
