It’s hard to imagine what happened to a new homeowner in St. Louis.
Shortly after moving into his new house, he heard strange noises coming from the basement.
He immediately picked up the phone and informed the local animal welfare organization Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
Happy homeowner

When you finally hold the keys to your new home in your hands, you can expect a lot of exciting things to happen in the coming days.
You might want to renovate, at least rearrange the furniture a few times, possibly redecorate, in short: make yourself really comfortable.
Certainly nobody expects to open the door to their new house and hear noises coming from the cellar.
After the distraught homeowner cautiously takes a look in the cellar, he picks up the phone.
A case for the animal welfare organization

According to the spokesperson for the Stray Rescue St. Louis organization, a man in a panic calls the animal rights activists and tells them that he has found a pit bull chained up in the basement of his new house.
The organization’s emergency services immediately set off. At this point, nobody knows the condition of the dog and how dangerous or exhausted it might be.
When the animal rights activists finally open the cellar door, they recognize a white pit bull with a striking black pattern, jumping up and down like crazy.
The chains around his neck almost cause him to strangle himself as he tries to get into the light and draw attention to himself.
The „jumping bean“ is rescued

The dog greets her rescuers with a wagging tail and is given the name „Jumping Bean“ because of her joyful jumping.
The initial assumption that the lovable creature had been chained up in the cellar by the old owner of the house has now been ruled out.
The house had been empty for months before the new buyer was found. The pit bull puppy could not have survived without water, food and light.
Instead, they are now trying to find out whether someone was staying in the house illegally while it was empty. Maybe this someone left the dog in the cellar.
In any case, the adorable pit bull puppy was lucky, as he must not have been chained up for too long when the new owner moved in.
The quick rescue of the bouncing bean decided its future life. The energetic but loving puppy got his second chance.
