It was an icy day when Felipe Gabriel and his brother Fernando were standing in the queue at the train station.
All they really wanted to do was buy tickets for their train journey.
But then they saw a dog lying on the ground, freezing terribly and shivering from the cold.
He looked completely hopeless
The dog seemed to have given up – there was hardly any hope left in his eyes.
Until the moment Felipe suddenly took off his shirt.
He placed the top directly over the freezing dog – and suddenly the four-legged friend felt an incredible warmth.
He finally experienced the love he had been missing for so long!
The gesture moved him to tears
The bystanders could barely contain their touch – this moment was just too heartwarming!
Someone filmed the emotional scene, which immediately went viral online and inspired thousands of people.
Felipe and his brother Fernando came back to the station after a while – they wanted to see if the dog was still there.
Their plan was to adopt him and give him a loving new home.
He was no longer there
However, when the siblings arrived at the station, there was no dog to be seen for miles around.
Apparently someone had already be aten them to it and taken the dog home with them.
Even though the two of them would have loved to have become his new family, they were incredibly happy that the dog would no longer have to suffer in the cold.
What a huge stroke of luck for the four-legged friend that he has now found a cozy, warm home where he is loved unconditionally.
