Madison Carlstrom takes her young daughter and the family dog for a walk. A perfectly normal activity.
Everything changes when she discovers a basket box under a tree that suddenly moves!
Madison gets the surprise of her life
„I went to the box to look at it. And you wouldn’t believe how surprised I was. There wasn’t just one puppy in there, there were four!
They did have water. But it was so far away that they couldn’t reach it“,
said a struggling Madison to The Dodo.
Apparently the puppies were simply abandoned by a heartless person. They are covered in fleas from top to bottom. They are starving and dehydrated.
When Madison finds them, it’s almost 41 degrees Celsius outside. Madison knows immediately that the little furbabies can’t survive much longer.
Fortunately, she knows all about rescuing animals. She knows exactly what to do now.
„They were so happy and fuzzy. They ran straight towards me. As if to say: ‚Thank you, we’re so hot!“
madison continues her story.
Puppies find a new home
Three of the four little fur noses are taken in by Second Chance Farm. The smallest rascal, Enzo, moves in with Madison and her family:
„Enzo and my daughter are best friends. We just couldn’t give him up. We took him to the vet yesterday. He is recovering beautifully“,
madison concludes her story.
Enzo has a broken tail. But that doesn’t stop him from having a blast in his new life.
He loves his new family more than anything and is grateful that they found him and his siblings.
Madison could have just walked past the basket box. Instead, she saved the lives of four little dogs. And gained a new family member.
