The sound makes the music: when Javier Rosemberg and his two children go for an evening walk and hear a dog barking, they know immediately that the situation is serious.
The desperate and piercing bark goes through their veins and they decide to investigate. The situation ends in an impressive rescue operation.
The barking dog draws attention to his friend
„The little black and white dog has asked people passing by for help“,
javier is certain.
It soon becomes clear to him and his children why the loyal four-legged friend is so frantic. Another dog is stuck in a sewer under the sidewalk.
Without his friend’s barking, passers-by would hardly have noticed the completely distraught animal.
„It was the dog’s loyalty that impressed us most about the scene. It was only thanks to his barking that the stuck dog was discovered“
recalls the father of the family.
The fire department is alerted for the rescue
Because they were unable to free the dog themselves, they called the fire department. Just as important, however, is the task that Javier’s son Teo takes on.
He lovingly looks after the friend of the trapped dog, stroking him and calming him down while the fire department frees the other animal from its predicament.
When the larger of the two dogs is finally free, everyone involved witnesses a truly poignant reunion between the two friends.
„It was a happy ending. Seeing the two of them running and jumping around together was very exciting,“
says Javier.
To him and the others, it looks like the two of them are celebrating the moment together.
The rescue operation is very close to Javier’s heart
Javier is moved by the fact that a small dog can motivate so many people to help, and he is also very proud of his son Teo’s role.
„We are very proud of Teo and also of our daughter. They are, and always have been, both very big animal lovers and protectors,“
he says of his two children.
Thanks to their exemplary reaction, the two dogs can run around together again and go on adventures.
It is not known where they come from, but it is obvious that they belong together and are best friends. Let’s hope they have a home together.
