This little male dog has had to experience so much, even though he is not yet very old. That’s why it’s particularly enchanting that he’s so punctual.
The reason for this is truly tragic and touches everyone who hears about it. And yet his behaviour is surprising.
A difficult start to life
Harvey is now six years old and lives with his loving dog mum Abby in Austin, Texas.
His owner has left the young animal frightened and completely on his own in this terrible natural disaster.
The fact that he survived this natural disaster at all is nothing short of a miracle. Harvey then went to the animal shelter.
From there, he went through four families before he won Abby’s heart, who was happy to offer him a cosy, loving home for life.
This all happened before the little dog had even completed his first year of life. He has been through so much – brave little chap.

Having been disgracefully abandoned by his first owner in a terrible emergency situation, Harvey has a deep distrust of men.
There has never been a man for whom the male dog has opened his heart. However, this statement is not entirely correct.
Because on the stroke of 5.30 pm, Harvey waits attentively and looks out of the window with concentration.
As soon as he sees the man, his tail starts to wag wildly. It’s the anticipation of the one moment of the day.
Harvey joyfully rushes to the front door and greets this one man who has captured his heart.
This man is none other than Abby’s boyfriend, who comes home from work at the same time every day.
A joy for two men’s hearts
Abby’s boyfriend is aware of how special Harvey’s behaviour towards him is and the man enjoys the daily reunion just as much as the dog.
With such a touching scene, there was only one thing Abby had to do: clearly take a video!
It is simply wonderful to watch the joy of these two close buddies. The two of them cuddle and play at the front door.
Only when this ritual has been completed is the man allowed to greet Abby. Then the cosy family evening for the three of them begins.
