The sight is almost unbearable for the PETA volunteers. When they find Buster, the little furry friend is badly scarred from a life as a chain dog.
But the most heartbreaking thing is that he is still a real treasure when it comes to interacting with people.
But his fate is about to change for the better in the most wonderful way.
Buster has to live as a chain dog
Although the little black dog has to stay outside around the clock in all weathers, he has not lost his trust in people, writes iheartdogs.com.
And he would have had every reason to! While other dogs can romp around happily and are loved, Buster has only one joy: the food he gets.
He doesn’t get any attention. Instead, the chain was fastened so tightly to his neck that it cut deep into his small body and left large wounds.
He also has huge bald patches in his fur due to untreated injuries. It’s a drama.
The turning point!
It was only when volunteers from the animal rescue organization PETA became aware of the unfortunate dog that his fate took a turn for the better.
They spoke to his owners and actually managed to persuade them to give the dog to them. And that is the beginning of the life that brave Buster really deserves!
But first he gets the medical care he so desperately needs. Buster also gets a bath and lots of cuddles, because he has some catching up to do.
Lots of love for Buster
After this treatment, however, comes the most wonderful moment for the little fur nose.
The animal rescuers have managed to find the perfect home for the little dog in the meantime. A couple agreed to take Buster in.
And heaven on earth really does await him here, because now he is getting all the love he deserves.
When the black male dog happily romps around the garden with his toys in his mouth, you no longer notice the sad start to his life.
