There are friendships that seem predestined in heaven. Charlot and Olaf’s friendship is an impressive and heart-warming example of this.
The paralyzed dog and the snow-white cat have a deep bond that fills all the gaps in their lives and gives them both strength and emotional support.

According to doctors, there is no hope
Vets advised the owner to have little Charlot put to sleep. Because even at a tender puppy age, the puppy was dealt a hard blow.
Charlot fell victim to canine distemper, a viral disease that is often fatal. The result is paralysis that leaves the doctors without hope.
But luckily Charlot’s mom is far from throwing in the towel. The progression of the story is a masterful example of the willingness to fight together for a great goal.
Because Charlot’s owner does everything she can to make her darling’s life as comfortable as possible and never takes a step without her. She even gets her own „wheelchair“.
But then the dog mom makes a decision that will change her protégé’s life forever in an unexpected way.
Love is the best medicine
Olaf, a snow-white cat from the animal shelter, enters their lives and gives Charlot the drive she needs for her long road to recovery.
The mere presence of her furry friend seems to make Charlot’s days brighter. Olaf senses when the waves of pain overwhelm his canine friend.
Then he is immediately on hand, cuddling up to Charlot’s motionless legs or playfully trying to cheer her up with a gentle paw stroke.
It really is moving to watch the two friends being together. The lightness of the cat gives Charlot strength and the irrepressible will to move her legs again.
With various therapies, cuddles, massages and two beings by her side who never lose faith in her healing, Charlot has the best prerequisites for being able to romp around carefree again in the future.
