Tig is a little pit bull puppy. His owner abandoned him when he was just nine months old.
The little dog is so thin that all his bones are visible.
His rescuers don’t know if they can pull him through. Tig is not only almost starving, but also hypothermic.
It is not clear whether he will survive the night because it is also not known whether he will even make it through the next few hours.
He doesn’t have much time
The rescuers take Tig to hospital.
Thomas Ingle, an employee of the Humane Law Enforcement Administration (HLE for short), is convinced:
„If we had waited any longer, I don’t think he would have made it.“
The nine-month-old dog is being kept in the home of experienced foster mom Kim O’Keefe. She takes good care of Tig.
tig is very weak for 24 hours. No one knows if he will make it.
But Kim has seen that Tig wants to make it! She immediately saw the will to live in his eyes.
Tig is an incredible dog
The little dog manages the next few hours and sits up on his own after just one week.
The care lasts for eleven weeks. Tig gains weight and also becomes more agile.
He is taken into a new home and, together with Megan, another dog, is delighted with his new owners: loving owners who do not abandon him.
